Cigar Wars changes the game in cigar ratings/rankings, never before have cigars been ranked by such a large number of cigar fanatics, bringing some of the most popular cigars together in head-on battles.

To rank cigars, we incorporate an advanced rankings system (similar to the way chess players are ranked), which gives each cigar a “Battle Rating” based off wins and losses, taking into account the difficulty of the cigar’s opponent. Because of this, as well as the quick-paced style in which thousands of cigar enthusiasts are in constant battle, rankings shift… a lot.

Therefore, we’d like to take a moment and recognize the best cigars each month, permanently sealing in their status as the best in their class!

To rank cigars monthly, we’ve devised a system to capture the highest ranking cigars throughout each week. Cigars are then awarded points based on their tier (#1 = 10 points , #2 = 9 points, etc.). The cigars with the most points at the end of each month will be declared the winners in their respective categories.
