This is it — time’s up — the bell has rung! Our collection of over 300 cigars (that’s 46,665 possible battle combinations) have officially duked it out in the Cigar Wars ring for a full calendar year! December provided a few interesting changes (as opposed to the stagnant results of November), with Padrón’s Family Reserve taking the top spot for the first time, after steadily rising through the ranks over the last few months. Fuente’s Lost City has remained hot, claiming a couple spots on the list, including its 3rd month in a row as the Dominican champ. Behike finally regained its role as the Cuban leader, knocking Montecristo off after 3 straight months. And My Father’s El Centurion H-2K-CT showed for the first time that it’s an affordable cigar to contend with.

Theoretically, with these December results in the book, one could tabulate the results for Cigar Wars’ Cigar of the Year winners… But you should probably leave that headache to us… Speaking of which, tune in to Cigar Dojo’s Smoke Night Live show this Friday (January 6, 2017), where we’ll announce the top honors from Cigar Wars for the year 2016! The show features special guest Steve Saka of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (Sobremesa, Mi Querida). In addition to going in-depth with Steve’s Dunbarton brand and his vast knowledge of the cigar industry, Steve will provide some insight on this year’s best-performing cigars.
