July switched from the Padrón domination of the month prior to the reining king of the Dominican Republic—Arturo Fuente. Fuente doesn’t quite dominate like Padrón did in June though, with some fresh faces making appearances on the board. Undercrown Shade took home the top “affordable cigar” spot for the first time and Punch Rare Corojo beat out its Honduran competitors for the first time as well. OpusX Belicoso XXX is no stranger to the leaderboard and this month’s victory could be a sign of a return to the Hall of Fame—which no cigar has done thus far.
