Laranja, debuting in mid-2014, set in motion a new, more refined, sleeker, and more premium side of Espinosa Premium Cigars. While the company was often known for (and still is) its high-flavor/low-cost premium cigars, Laranja brought a new look and set a new bar for what was possible from Espinosa’a La Zona factory.

The cigar is pronounced as you’d expect, unless you want to be on brand owner Erik’s good side, then you’ll need to drop that last “a” – “It’s Laranj, bro,” as Erik would say.

Laranja was seen on multiple year-end awards lists, including the #2 spot on Cigar Dojo’s Cigar of the Year list. Following suit in 2015, many of the Espinosa core-line cigars now take on a similar style, such as the Espinosa Habano & Espinosa Especial.
