Tatuaje has long been one of the few brands to release a special cigar for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), and among a fewer number of brands that create a custom blend (rather than a vitola variation). This cigar is the 2nd time the blend was used, beginning with the TAA 2011—this time using a longer, thinner size. The cigars incorporate a box-press shape and a closed foot.

The blend has now been used with four release years: 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015. For 2013, Tatuaje used a variant of their 10th anniversary Seleccion de Cazador blend.
