As a whole, this group was relatively subpar, winning 44% of their battles (a little below average). But, the real story here is Mr. Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series – Natural, a clear contender for the next HOF member. Padrón rose from the middle of a pack of 230 cigars into the top 10 in under a week! Not only that, if we look at its winning percentage, it’s the highest ever from a new cigar during its first week. Winning a whopping 91.3% of battles, Padrón took down the reining champ (My Father Le Bijou 1922) by nearly 10 percentage points!
