Last week’s additions were all of the new variety, and voters responded kindly—ranking all but 1 cigar with a winning record… not something you see too often. As a whole, the group scored a 63.25 winning record, making this the second best overall group ever added to Cigar Wars! Leading the charge was Drew Estate’s newest addition to the legendary Undercrown series—Undercrown Sun Grown. Likewise with the group as a whole, Sun Grown tallied the second best winning percentage ever scored in a cigar’s first week—falling just below the 91.3% record set by Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series Natural in June of 2016. If this is a sign of things to come, who knows, we could have a new Hall of Fame member in our midsts…

Sorry, All Out Kings, I thought you had the winning formula this week. Still, AOK’s 66.7% would typically be a good enough score for the top spot, and marks the cigar as the 21st best score of all time… it’s safe to say there are some hot new cigars coming out this year!
