2014 saw the reemergence of Rocky Patel onto the boutique cigar market. Armed with 3 cigars, Prohibition Mexican, Prohibition Broadleaf, and Super Ligero, Rocky was suddenly back in the minds of hardcore cigar enthusiasts.

For the Prohibition – Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro, the cigars feature the likeness of something you’d expect to find hidden in the cupboard of your ‘ol redneck cousin Cletus (we all have one of those, right?). Just like that fiery “white lightning”, the cigars are packaged in mason jars, which are then further packaged in wooden crates of a similar backwoods feel. A top-notch presentation from the boys at RP!

The Broadleaf version of Prohibition is well-balanced with a predominant sweet, spicy profile. As the cigar progresses, the sweet, spicy core is accompanied by undertones of coffee, leather, and dark chocolate, with a slight hint of molasses. The finish is big & rich, with a lingering sweet, woody flavor.Rocky Patel
