The Cojonu series by Tatuaje is a triennial release, showcasing a new tweaked version of the cigar every 3 years (for the time being). As of now, there are 6 releases in the series (2003, 2006, 2009, and 3 editions in 2012), not including the Gran Cojonu cigars.

Despite what you may originally assume, the cigars are not limited editions—they are regularly produced cigars, with new blends being showcased every 3 years. Most cigars in the series consist of Ecuadorian Habano wrappers, and the 2009 is no exception. Cojonu (short for Cojonudo) is slang for “ballsy”, and the cigars utilize more full-bodied blends than the usual “Brown Label” offerings by Tatuaje.
