Family Reserve - Maduro

Padrón's Family Reserve series was said to be a uniquely opulent blend, only made available at family gatherings and other special events. In 2009, the cigar was first made available to the public, with Padrón releasing both the Family Reserve No. 44 and No. 45 (commemorating Padrón's 44th and 45th anniversary years) in the same year.

Since this time, the company has debuted new sizes as it sees fit, commemorating additional milestones within the company (50th anniversary, etc.) and Padrón family (the No. 85 size is made in honor of company founder José Orlando Padrón's 85th birthday). Until the introduction of the Padrón 50th Anniversary (aka "The Hammer") cigar in 2014, the Family Reserve line sat at the top of the brand's portfolio, using an all-Nicaraguan blend to showcase one of the strongest experiences in the company's lineup. Like nearly all other Padrón cigars, the Family Reserve is box-pressed and shipped in both Natural and Maduro variants of the same overall blend.
