Matilde Oscura

Matilde Cigars hit the market in 2014 with an impressive reception throughout the cigar world. This was due to two factors: a) the cigars are crafted by renowned blender Jose Seijas, and b), Matilde cigars are set at surprisingly affordable prices.

Matilde returned in 2015 with a darker offering for its sophomore year, showcasing a diverse, multi-national blend and finalized with a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper.

Matilde Oscura is the second addition to our family. The combination of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvanian filler, held by a Sumatran binder and finished with an exquisite San Andrean wrapper will yield amazing notes of black and white pepper, with hints of sweetness that will evolve to play a larger role as the tobaccos burn.
