Southern Draw Cigars' Desert Rose follows on the heels of the brand's fan-favorite Rose of Sharon blend, first introduced in 2017. While the original ROS showcased a modernized Connecticut style (i.e. an amped-up Connecticut), the Desert Rose takes this mindset a step further, being more robust than its predecessor.
Desert Rose showcases an Ecuadorian cloud-grown claro wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano binder (grown in Condega), and a new filler recipe of Corojo '99 and Piloto Cubano ligeros (originating from Honduras and the DR).
At launch, the cigars are offered in a singular box-pressed belicoso format, with an ongoing, small-batch production of roughly 150,000 cigars per year.
