La Barba Red

La Barba Boutique Cigars was formulated in 2010, later being shortened to La Barba, with the brand’s first release, La Barba Red, hitting the market in 2013. Co-founded by Tony Bellatto and Craig Rossi, La Barba set its sights at the boutique smoker, utilizing Cuban sizes (with an adamant stand against big “Gordo” vitolas) and techniques, combining classic flavors and modern style.

The brand had seemed to be placed on hold though, while its owners focused on other projects, such as the boutique collaboration with Robert Caldwell: Lost & Found. But La Barba returned in 2016, now being distributed by Tony’s Lost & Found associate and his own operation, Down and Back LLC (Caldwell Cigar Co.).

La Barba Red has been re-blended, featuring a similar profile of big and full-bodied flavors, using primarily Dominican tobaccos.
