Goldie

The La Palina Goldie series was first introduced with the Goldie Laguito No. 2 cigar in 2012. Every year following, La Palina has introduced a new, limited edition size of the blend. The cigars make use of intricate, classic Cuban sizes, as well as high-grade tobaccos—including the rare medio tiempo leaf in the cigar's filler.

The cigars are made at the famed El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, FL, and have the unique distinction of being rolled, in their entirety, by a single, category 9 roller. This (among other factors) is what makes the Goldie so special, being (formerly) rolled by Maria Sierra, known as one of the best cigar rollers in the world. Production was turned over to Lopez “Chino” Perez in 2017, with Sierra retiring, later passing away at the age of 70 in January 2019.
