My Father has done it again, as the renowned brand and factory has secured yet another top spot on the prestigious Top 25 list by Cigar Aficionado for 2015. And though the cigar was actually released in 2009, there's no denying this is a premium blend worthy of any enthusiast's collection.
The blend was made to honor "the father's father", as Don Pepín García crafted Le Bijou to commemorate his father, born in 1922. Here, Pepín has again utilized the García's prized Pelo de Oro—which is an extremely difficult, yet rewarding tobacco varietal—making Le Bijou more limited in nature.
Le Bijou (The Jewel) 1922 is a blend that has been created within the well-known brand "My Father". Jose "Pepin" Garcia has made this in honor, appreciation and memory of his father, who was born in 1922. It is presented in an elegant, white box of 23 cigars, identified with a second label with the name of this unique blend. Its finishing touches are composed of a Habano O.O. (Oscuro) wrapper, this is due to its intense color within the natural variety. This is a full-bodied blend with and exquisite and exceptional aroma. Once again, the Garcia family incorporates into their profile the passion for the Cuban cigars tradition.
