Nuevitas Jibaro is the second blend in the Nuevitas collection from Tatuaje, being the fuller-bodied offering of the two cigars. Nuevitas is a revived brand from Tatuaje, initially being produced until 2007. The cigars have the unique designation of being the only from Tatuaje to not be crafted by the García family—instead, they were made at Pedro Martin’s Tabacalera Tropical in Nicaragua.
In 2018, the cigars were brought back to market, now transitioning to the García's renowned My Father Cigars factory in Estelí. In addition, the blend is sourced entirely from García-grown tobaccos, including a special sun-grown Corojo ’99 wrapper. As the García family has been working to introduce their take on the aforementioned leaf for some time, Nuevitas Jibaro is among the first cigars to incorporate it.
