The La Zona cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua is the choosen location where all Cubariqueno blends are created under the watchful eye of Erik Espinosa. In December 2016 Cigar Federation rated the Protocol Lancero #1 Cigar of the Year for 2016. January 2017 Cigar DoJo rated the Probable Cause - Under the Radar Cigar of the Year for 2016. January 2018 The Protocol Themis was named Cigar DOJO Top 10 cigars of the year."
