Camacho didn’t simply add new sizes when introducing the BXP series in early 2017. The cigars showcase a tweaked blend to accompany the new box-pressed shapes, including the notable addition of Pennsylvania Broadleaf in the filler—making for an amped-up take on Camacho’s already-solidified collection of bold cigars (aka the “Bold Standard” in the industry).
The new cigars can easily be identified, as the color scheme has been flipped—showcasing primarily black with red highlights, as opposed to the original’s red with black.
These box-pressed offerings have been fine tuned to deliver a bolder, more impactful taste experience. As an added spin, Camacho’s master builders have amplified each of the original core blends with the addition of American Broadleaf tobaccos grown in Pennsylvania. The introduction of these Broadleaf tobaccos greatly intensifies the aromas and dramatically boosts the overall taste experience, while box-pressing delivers a noticeably longer and cooler smoke with a more comfortable mouth feel.
