L'Atelier

L'Atelier makes no attempt to conceal its unmistakably borrowed look from the legendary Cohiba Behike BHK. Everything from the band artwork, to the sizes, to the pigtail cap, to the naming of the vitolas—like Behike's little Nicaraguan sibling.

Of course, this is all done with the upmost respect for the world-famous Cohiba brand; it's an homage to the wonderful products to come from Cuba over the years. And now, for those of us that are denied the luxury, L'Atelier Imports offers their take on the Behike while avoiding the heavy price point of those luxurious Cubans.

This is the baseline cigar from L'Atelier Imports; a sort of super-group brand, created by Pete Johnson (Tatuaje), K.C. Johnson (Pete's brother), Dan "Surrogates Dan" Welsh, and Sean “Casper” Johnson. The blend is highlighted by a special leaf known as Sancti Spíritus—a premium hybrid leaf known for strong, yet sweet flavor. This has since played a theme throughout most L'Atelier releases.
