Plasencia Cigars S.A.

Formerly known as Segovia Cigars, Plasencia Cigars S.A. is the family's Estelí-based operation. The factory is one of four owned by the renowned Plasencia family, now in their fifth generation of tobacco growers. In 2015, the Plasencias became the largest grower of premium tobacco in the world, cultivated from eight plantations throughout Central America. Plasencia Cigars S.A. is perhaps the family's most well-known factory, alongside the Tabacos de Oriente S.A. factory in Honduras.
